It should be "Sugran" NOT "Sugaran"

Sugran.com was not available when I registered. However, I got it later. Till then, this site had already picked up so I didn't bother changing it.

Hey hi Janhavi in place of amsul you can also use tamarind (imlee).
Most people do use this for some special recipies, but be careful while
using tamarind as it has a very strong taste. And you have to use its
pulp and throw away the rest. Soak it in a warm water for an hour and
then nicely squeeze it and you will get the tamarind pulp.

Thanks and keep visiting…;-)

Sorry for replying so late.

Hello

Ya its right, but its the place from where this food (thecha) came from.
Poor people donot have much ingredients, so most of their food you will
find is of this kind. I think everybody has their own tastes and kind
of food which i like to cook and taste.

Anyway thanks for visiting

Actually you are mistaken i am not labelling this food, but its a fact
and it really belongs to poor people. Which I just mentioned here.
Because they cannot afford most things in cooking they use less
ingredients and thats the reason they prepare thecha and bhakari. And
ofcourse it is appreciated and liked for its heavenly taste by all
people, thats why you can find this recipe on my blog.

Keep visiting

THIS IS POOR MAN'S BEST FOOD WHICH RICH PEOPLE ADAPT AS THEY EAT TASTELESS FRIED/SUGARED/BUTTERED FOODS. MOST GOOD FOOD RECIPES COME FROM UNDERPRIVILEGED PEOPLE ,AS THEY TRY TO MAKE LEMONADE WITH THE LEMONS THEY GET FROM RICH MR JOSHI.
MAY BE YOU SHOULD ONCE IN A WHILE TAKE A PEEK AT THE TI FIN OF THOSE PEOPLE.

Good recipe description, but it is strongly objectionable to label Thecha as poor peoples food. This is wildly wrong. Thecha is liked and appreciated for its heavenly taste by rich, middle , poor all alike. Your misconception must be stemming from the fact that poor people are physically hard workers and they have a capacity to manage the fiery hot thecha in their daily food unlike so called rich.
