Healthy Vegetable Diet Rice

This rice is specially designed for the health conscious & for the people who want to loose weight as it contains very less oil and no preservatives at all. If you are concious about your figure, you will definitely try this and give me your comments.

  1. Steamed Rice (Tandul) – 1 big bowl (heaped)
  2. Capsicums (Shimla Mirch) –  1 small bowl (chopped)
  3. Carrots (Gazar) – 1 small bowl (chopped)
  4. Onions (Kanda) – 1 small bowl (chopped)
  5. French Beans (Farasbi) – 1 small bowl (chopped)
  6. Ginger (Ala)  – 1/2 inch (finely chopped)
  7. Garlic (Lasun) – 4 big cloves (finely chopped)
  8. Green Chilli (Mirchi) – 3 (finely chopped)
  9. Red Chilli Powder – 1 tspn
  10. Olive Oil (Tel) – 2 tspn
  11. Salt to taste

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet or pan; add ginger, garlic, chillies, onions and saute till they turn golden .
  2. Add all vegetables except capsicum. Simmer till they become tender.
  3. Now add capsicum, red chilli powder and salt; cook it for  5 mins.
  4. When the vegetables are cooked stir in the  steamed rice and toss it until hot.
  5. You can spray some water if needed and toss it again.
  6. Now cover with a lid and turn off the flame.
  7. Serve hot.


For healthy diet rice; you have to use nicely seperated steamed rice.
